A new anti-logger software is now on the market (there is a free cut down version for personal only use).
This could rival the "Zemana Anti-Logger" we've already tested. Read that review here - Zemana Antilogger
SpyShelter is 'signature free', in that it doesn't rely on identifying patterns within rogue software (like most anti-virus software does) to prevent data loss. However, we've noticed there has been a new release of the software every week for the last 3 weeks - so whilst you may not have to depend on signature downloads to keep this software valid, it still appears to require some minor effort to keep the software itself current. This could of course just be that the software is relatively new, that updates are frequent at the time of writing. (we also noticed this behaviour with Zemana).
This antilogger software claims to prevent logging from:
KeyBoard (in Free version)
SSL Data Transfers
Clipboard (in Free version)
Screen Captures (in Free version)
and to also monitor registry and system memory.
REMEMBER - anti-logger software DOES NOT REPLACE ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE. It is additional software to give extra peace of mind from a specific set of risk/threats only.
